![]() Due to our extreme busyness we are going on an indefinite hiatus. The pages will remain up for your enjoyment, but we won't be updating. It was great running a Xena site, but we've reached our limit. Battle on, Xena fans. ~New Gab and Zeplerfer 7/30/06 - New Poll! After only several months! I'm sorry we've been terrible at updating lately. Stupid jobs. Anyway, New Gab likes to play the Sims alot (another reason why she doesn't update much). She uses Xena characters, so she decided to make a rather amusing video which you can see here (~40 MB AVI). Now, I'm not perfect at speaking Simese, but I believe the conversation goes something like this... Ares (crying): Please Xena, go out with me again. Or else I'll have to settle for Eve. Xena: Hey! You are not touching my daugther! [Much fighting] Ares: Okay, okay, no Eve. What about Gab? 7/02/06 - Added two suggestions for the Everything I Ever Needed to Know I Learned from Xena list from Sam: No matter how bad the situation you are in, love will always overcome anything and an anonymous suggestion: Friendship is forever. I just wish TV shows were forever. Well, Zep is going on vacation for the next two weeks and New Gab hasn't been seen since the latest Sims expansion came up so there might not be an update for the next two weeks. Anyway, here's a new top ten! 10. An Inconvenient Truth features a new song written by Melissa Etheridge 9. Melissa Etheridge is well-loved by the GLBT community 8. Xena also has a large fanbase in the GLBT community 7. Al Gore is probably a fan of Xena too 6. In observance of traditional Xenite practice, no number 6 in this list 5. Ice plays an important role in both films: Xena and Gab sleep in ice coffins for 25 years, while because politicians are asleep at the helm on this issue lots of ice will melt in the next 25 years. 3. Both do/did something revolutionary for the progressive agenda by introducing global warming/lesbiansto a mainstream audience 2. Xena was the one who discovered that increased levels of CO2 in the atmosphere are causing climate change 1. Al Gore invented Xena 6/24/06 - We've decided to go with just sharing video clips. The Xena movie has the go-ahead to be made, but it still needs funding and strong DVD sales would help. We don't want to be the reason people don't buy DVDs. Anyway, here's a new top ten! Top Ten Ways X-Men 3 Is Like Xena 10. Both names start with X, which automatically makes them very cool 9. The mutants are similar to the Greek gods, they have super powers, but they still fight amongst themselves and act like people who should be on Jerry Springer 8. There's a random guy with wings, but instead of being evil, he's merely pointless 7. Never assume anyone is truly dead 6. The Dark Pheonix is Alti and Callisto's demon love-child 5. 6 mutants (or 1 Xena) can take on an army and win 4. Xena is also an outcast with super powers 3. Even the good guys wear leather 2. People are way cooler when they turn evil 1. A main character's death pisses off fans who felt that there were clearly better options and that the directors took the easy route for dramatic effect (yes, I'm still bitter). 6/17/06 - I'm sorry about the long hiatus, between jobs, school, and a new cat we were really busy. Someone sent me an email saying that the top ten lists were screwy and were only showing the first 10. I've now fixed that so you have plenty to read while waiting for uploads (darned server updated the script language without my knowledge, mutter, mutter). Meanwhile, we've been debating the ethics of putting episodes online. At first we wanted to provide video for people who make music videos and to show the videos to people who don't live in the US and are a few seasons behind, but we do still think that everyone should go out and buy the DVDs. We might start putting the videos on youtube since you can only view them there, instead of downloading. Anyway, sorry we've been gone so long! Here's a new top ten: Top Ten Gifts Xena Would Never Give Ares on Father's Day 10. A back massage 9. One of those novelty singing bass 8. A gag gift with worms that shoot out when you open it, because those are for Gabrielle 7. The key to her heart (or any other part, for that matter) 6. A paternity test 5. Neck tie with a chakram design 4. A hand-made card that says "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Are you My Father? I wish I knew." 3. A new grill, Ares is dangerous enough without charcoal and lighters 2. New pair of socks 1. Anything, because he's not her father! 4/9/06 - Continuing with season one, here is the next episode: Chariots of War Part 1 (AVI 60.4 MB), Part 2 (AVI 60.8 MB), Part 3 (AVI 52.4 MB), and Part 4 (AVI 60.1 MB). We should be getting back to season two soon, although it's kinda fun to remember the very beginnings. 4/2/06 - We hope everyone enjoyed the April Fool's joke. Unfortunately we won't be getting a season seven, although we continue to hope for a movie. In the meantime, here's a new episode. It's not from season 2, but as the very first episode it's well worth watching: Sins of the Past Part 1 (AVI 53.2 MB), Sins of the Past Part 2 (AVI 57 MB), Sins of the Past Part 3 (AVI 64.1 MB) and Sins of the Past Part 4 (AVI 61 MB). Also, we've finally updated the poll. We're really curious, so please take the poll. 4/1/06 - Sorry about the lack of updates, we have both been very busy with school. However, we also have some great news from AUSXIP: Universal Studios have announced that they are making a straight-to-DVD seventh season consisting of 11 episodes starring Lucy and Renee that will wrap up the series. We even managed to get our hands some spoilers! Spoiler Alert! Read at your own risk! Top Ten Spoilers of Season Seven 10. Xena and Gab get a new pet, an adorable ferret who likes shiny objects 9. Gab's new hair-do is a rainbow mohawk to please the show's gay base 8. Xena and Gab travel to the island of pompeii looking for Xena's second cousin's daughter and they escape just in time 7. Argo grows jealous of the ferret and runs off to live with the centaurs 4. The musical stars the singing ferret who sings "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" while Xena and Gab stare at each other awkwardly over a bowl of spaghetti with meatballs (which Xena invented) 3. Gab's twin is the owner of a house of ill repute who kidnaps Xena (after she hits her head and thinks she's a hestian virgin) and keeps her prisoner until Gab comes to the rescue 2. The ferret's evil twin is the reincarnated spirit of Alti, she tries to steal Xena's breastplate but discovers she's just too small and then gets eaten by a hawk 1. Xena is brought back to life with the help of a magic lamp End Spoiler Alert Disclaimer: I don't own Xena. Someone else does. I just like to talk about her all the time. Don't sue me--I'm poor and I don't make money off anything on this site. Same old site, new colors |
