Xena Episodes -

As a fan of making music videos I know how frustrating it is to not have the exact clip that you want for your video, so we decided to help out a little bit and make some of the Xena episodes available for people to use in their music videos. (Though we strongly encourage you all to go out and buy them on dvd, the special features are awesome!)

We're using the hosting service megaupload to decrease our bandwidth use and increase the number of videos we can share. Please download from these links, the download will start one minute after you open the page. Downloads will stay up for 30 days after the last download.

Xena Web 2k - tons of clips, unfortunately they're all realmedia clips. If you want to convert them to avis check out the Tinra program (more details here)

Media Player Download Links -
Windows Media Player - plays almost all formats (WMV, MPEG, AVI, etc), but has trouble with movies (at least on Zep's computer, which is a bit old)
Windows Movie Maker - what Shimmera uses to make her videos, very useful for video editing
RealPlayer - Will play most formats decently, but mostly useful for playing RMs
DVIX - a media player for AVIS that use the DVIX codex (mostly movies), very good for playing movies, supported by adware
Radlight - plays most formats and plays movies more smoothly than dvix, standard version is ad-free
AviEdit - useful editor for avis, what Zep used to make her music video (although she uses an older version that doesn't require registration)
Virtual Dub - program for cutting and editing many file types (Zep is currently trying it out)
Tinra - converts realmedia files to avi files. You need to download two files to use it easily, the first is the actual program, and the second is a graphical user interface (GUI) that makes it *much* easier to use.
